Mantle

Mantle Network is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain that uses a modular architecture² to achieve high performance and low costs. Mantle was developed by the BitDAO¹ ecosystem (now Mantle Governance) and launched its mainnet in 2023. MNT is both the native gas token and the governance token of the Mantle ecosystem.

맨틀 네트워크는 모듈식 아키텍처를 사용하는 이더리움 L2로, BitDAO¹(현 Mantle Governance)가 개발하여 2023년 출시했다. MNT는 가스 토큰 겸 거버넌스 토큰이다.

The Mantle ecosystem is backed by one of the largest DAO treasuries in the blockchain industry. This treasury, holding billions of dollars in assets, is used to fund ecosystem development, provide liquidity incentive²s, and support builders through grants and investment programs.

맨틀 생태계는 블록체인 업계에서 가장 큰 DAO 재무 중 하나의 지원을 받는다. 수십억 달러 규모의 자산을 보유한 이 재무는 생태계 개발 자금 조달, 유동성 인센티브 제공, 그리고 보조금 및 투자 프로그램을 통한 빌더 지원에 사용된다.

Mantle Network uses a modular design separating the execution layer from the data availability (DA)² layer. While transaction execution happens on the Mantle L2, transaction data is stored on EigenDA¹ — a decentralized data availability² service built on Ethereum restaking. This design reduces L1 data costs while maintaining security.

맨틀 네트워크는 실행 레이어와 데이터 가용성(DA) 레이어를 분리하는 모듈식 설계를 사용한다. 트랜잭션 실행은 맨틀 L2에서 이루어지는 반면, 트랜잭션 데이터는 이더리움 리스테이킹 위에 구축된 탈중앙화 데이터 가용성 서비스인 EigenDA¹에 저장된다. 이 설계는 보안을 유지하면서 L1 데이터 비용을 줄인다.

Mantle v2 Tectonic¹ upgraded the network to an OP Stack-based architecture, making it compatible with the Superchain ecosystem. This upgrade brought full EVM equivalence, improved performance, and access to the growing OP Stack developer tooling and interoperability standards.

맨틀 v2 테크토닉(Tectonic)은 네트워크를 OP 스택 기반 아키텍처로 업그레이드하여 슈퍼체인 생태계와 호환되게 했다. 이 업그레이드는 완전한 EVM 동등성, 향상된 성능, 그리고 성장하는 OP 스택 개발자 도구 및 상호운용성 표준에 대한 접근을 제공했다.

MNT serves a dual role as both the gas token and governance token of the Mantle ecosystem. As a gas token, MNT is used to pay transaction fees on Mantle Network. As a governance token, MNT holders can vote on treasury allocation², protocol parameters, and strategic decisions through the Mantle Governance process.

MNT는 맨틀 생태계에서 가스 토큰과 거버넌스 토큰의 이중 역할을 한다. 가스 토큰으로서 MNT는 맨틀 네트워크에서 트랜잭션 수수료를 지불하는 데 사용된다. 거버넌스 토큰으로서 MNT 보유자는 맨틀 거버넌스 프로세스를 통해 재무 배분, 프로토콜 매개변수 및 전략적 결정에 투표할 수 있다.
