Soneium

Soneium is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain developed by Sony Block Solutions Labs, a joint venture between Sony Group¹ and Startale Labs. Built on the OP Stack, Soneium is designed to bridge Web2 entertainment and content industries with Web3² capabilities, enabling creators and users to interact with digital content in new ways.

Soneium does not have its own native token. ETH is used as the gas token on Soneium, consistent with its position as part of the Optimism Superchain¹. This decision reflects Soneium's focus on building practical applications rather than token speculation.
