Unichain

Unichain is an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain built by Uniswap¹ Labs, designed to be the home for DeFi and the broadest center of multichain liquidity. Unichain is built on the OP Stack and is part of the Optimism Superchain, featuring two key innovations: Verifiable Block Building and the Unichain Validation Network.

유니체인은 유니스왑 랩스가 구축한 이더리움 L2로, DeFi의 본거지이자 멀티체인 유동성의 중심지를 지향한다. OP 스택 기반 슈퍼체인의 일원이며, 검증 가능한 블록 빌딩과 유니체인 검증 네트워크(UVN)라는 두 혁신을 특징으로 한다.

Unichain does not have its own native blockchain token. ETH is used as the gas token on Unichain. The UNI token¹, Uniswap's existing governance token, plays a role in the Unichain Validation Network where UNI stakers can earn fees by participating in network validation.

유니체인은 자체 네이티브 블록체인 토큰이 없다. ETH가 유니체인의 가스 토큰으로 사용된다. 유니스왑의 기존 거버넌스 토큰인 UNI 토큰은 UNI 스테이커들이 네트워크 검증에 참여하여 수수료를 얻을 수 있는 유니체인 검증 네트워크(UVN)에서 역할을 담당한다.

Unichain introduces Verifiable Block Building using a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE¹). The block builder² runs inside a TEE¹, which allows anyone to verify that the builder is following predefined rules for transaction ordering, making the block building process transparent and auditable.

유니체인은 신뢰 실행 환경(TEE¹)을 사용하는 검증 가능한 블록 빌딩을 도입한다. 블록 빌더는 TEE¹ 내부에서 실행되며, 이를 통해 누구나 빌더가 트랜잭션 순서 결정에 관한 사전 정의된 규칙을 따르고 있는지 검증할 수 있어 블록 빌딩 과정이 투명하고 감사 가능해진다.

Unichain implements Flashblocks¹ — a system that produces pre-confirmation² blocks every 250 milliseconds within a one-second block interval. Flashblocks¹ give users near-instant transaction feedback and reduce the economic opportunity for MEV by limiting the time window available for reordering.

유니체인은 1초 블록 간격 내에서 250밀리초마다 사전 확인 블록을 생성하는 시스템인 플래시블록(Flashblocks¹)을 구현한다. 플래시블록은 사용자에게 거의 즉각적인 트랜잭션 피드백을 제공하고, 재정렬에 사용 가능한 시간 창을 제한하여 MEV의 경제적 기회를 줄인다.

The Unichain Validation Network (UVN¹) is a decentralized set of node operators who attest to the canonical state of the Unichain blockchain. By running validation nodes, UNI stakers can earn a portion of network fees while providing economic security that makes it costly to finalize invalid blocks.

유니체인 검증 네트워크(UVN¹)는 유니체인 블록체인의 정규 상태를 증명하는 탈중앙화된 노드 운영자 집합이다. 검증 노드를 운영함으로써 UNI 스테이커들은 네트워크 수수료의 일부를 받으면서 유효하지 않은 블록을 확정하는 데 비용이 많이 들도록 경제적 보안을 제공한다.

A central vision of Unichain is to solve the liquidity fragmentation¹ problem that arises in a multichain world. By positioning itself as a DeFi hub² within the Superchain, Unichain aims to aggregate liquidity from multiple chains, enabling users to trade any asset across any chain through a unified experience.
